Lucas Rice serves as Chief Executive Officer for Mitsch Design, responsible for strategic direction, business execution, and growth aligned with and in support of our client expectations. Lucas is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and brings an infectious management style to the team, with decades of business leadership in project-based companies.
Lucas has a BS in Aerospace Engineering, a Master in Business Administration, and a Masters in Strategic Studies, as well as professional merits as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), and Six Sigma Black Belt. Lucas is a nationally publish author on leadership in business, and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and four children.

FAVORITE PLACE ON THE PLANET
Though Aruba is always a relaxing option, my favorite place on earth is Chautauqua, NY. My family has been going there for generations, and it is one of the few places that I can truly relax and decompress.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Vision. Without vision, you have no direction and are stagnant. One of my favorite movies is “The Greatest Showman” because it chronicles how P.T. Barnum had a dream, overcame challenge and rejection, but was eventually rewarded for his vision and hard work creating happiness and smiles all around the world.
